Maritza Alicea, 46, beloved daughter of Francisco and Carmen Alicea, Jr. (of Marlborough) passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her six children: Selina, Jesus, Kenny, Kaedyn, Aliana and Bailey; her two siblings: Andria and Frankie, grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Maritza was a graduate of Waltham High School and then worked hard to obtain her medical assistance certificate from Aquinas College.

Maritza loved reading books, especially those authored by Mary Higgins Clark and Nora Roberts. She enjoyed hanging out at the beach and crocheting blankets and other novelties. Her family will remember her most for her bright spirit, joyfulness, kindheartedness, and a smile that would light up a room. She lived her life to the fullest and will be missed by those who loved her the most.
