May 8, 1936 – August 14, 2012
MARLBOROUGH - Marion F. (Clifford) O'Leary Slocum, 76, of Marlborough died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester after a long illness. Her husband, John A. Marion enjoyed travelling, people watching, watching television--especially "Extreme Home Makeover"--and when they were younger, playing sports with her three boys. A giving, happy-go-lucky woman, stern but fair with her family, she was devoted to them all.
She leaves three sons, David P., Jay L. and Terry M. O'Leary, all of Marlborough; three brothers, Raymond Clifford of Webster, and Leon C. Clifford, Jr. and Harry Clifford, both of Florida, and her sisters, Phyllis Priest of Rhode Island, Edna Priest of Florida, Lorraine Bernier of Worcester and Pamela Carlisle of Clinton; six grandchildren, Caitlin, Owen, Brendon, Erin, Alex and Ashley; and many nephews and nieces. She was the grandmother of David Paul O'Leary, Jr., who died in 1999, and was the sister of the late Walter, Hazel, Ida and Ruth.
