MARLBOROUGH – Marie "June" (McGuirl) Henning, 75, of Marlborough and formerly of Framingham was welcomed into heaven Friday, November 4, 2011. She was the devoted wife of Raymond C. Henning for the past 52 years. Born, raised and educated in Union City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Alexandra (Zapolska) McGuirl, and was a 1953 graduate of St. Michael's in Union City. June was a substitute teacher in Marlborough and Hudson Public Schools for many years. A member of the Senior Strutters Theatre Group in Sudbury, she enjoyed flowers, traveling, reading, but more than anything, she loved being with her family and friends. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her the greatest joy. She welcomed everyone to her home and her life. June's grace touched everyone she knew.

Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Patricia M. Turner and her husband, Stephen, of Marlborough, Susan Glynn and her husband, Thomas, of Marblehead and June-Rae and her husband Tage, of Framingham; eight grandchildren, James and Kayleigh, Victoria, Emma and Sean, Tage, Tyler and Ava; a brother, Owen McGuirl of Tampa, FL and a sister, Theresa Ciemiecki of Jersey City, NJ and her brother the late Bernard McGuirl of NJ; many nephews and nieces.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Matthias Church, Hemenway Street, Marlborough. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Monday, November 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com) , 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. In lieu of flowers donations in June's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
