Marie G. Bergeron, 94, of Quincy and a former resident of Marlborough, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Alliance Health at Marina Bay in Quincy.

Born and raised in Marlborough, Marie was the daughter of the late Ernest D. and Gertrude (Dudley) Bergeron. She completed her education at St. Anne's Academy, graduating in 1948, and went on to earn her diploma from Dr. Burnett's Clinical Laboratory School of Technique in Boston in 1949. Marie dedicated her career to the field of Medical Technology, serving as a Blood Bank technician and Histopathology technician until her retirement in 1992. In 1982, she achieved her Associate's degree in Histopathology from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Throughout her career, she also held positions at the Veterans Administration Hospital and Medical Center in Boston, and spent her final two years before retirement at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston.

Marie was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest D. Bergeron, Jr., who lost his life during World War II, and Paul E. Bergeron, both from Marlborough. She is survived by several cousins.
