Framingham- Marcelo Alves DePaiva, 42, of Framingham died Thursday February 3, 2022. He was the husband of Jane Maria De Almeida Alves of Framingham for the past 19 years. He was born, raised and educated in Tarumirim, Minas Gerais, Brazil the son of Divino Ferreira De Paiva and Eva Maria Ribeiro Ferreira. He was a member of St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham.  Marcelo was a self-employed painter for many years. He loved Brazilian music and was devoted to his family and close friends.

He was the father of Felipe Almeida De Paiva and Isabella Almeida De Paiva both of Framingham; brother to  Marcilio Alves De Paiva of Ashland and Cristina Alves De Paiva of Framingham.

A funeral Mass will be Celebrated Tuesday February 8 at 7:00 PM in St. Tarcisius Church, Framingham. Burial will be held in Brazil. Calling hours will be held Monday February 7 from 6:00-9:00 PM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
