Marlborough – Lynn A. (Comeau) DaPonte, 64, of Marlborough, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Lynn was born and raised in Marlborough and was the daughter of the late David A. Comeau and Donna M. (Haigh) Comeau. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1979.

For 30 years, Lynn worked as a customer service representative at Gersh Insurance in Marlborough, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic. In her free time, she enjoyed creating diamond paintings and took great pride in her artwork. Lynn also generously volunteered her time to support many local charitable events within her community.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Donna M. Comeau of Marlborough; her sister, Sharon D. Comeau McGowan, and her husband Richard of Berlin. She was predeceased by her brother, David E. Comeau, and her niece, Olivia McGowan.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Funeral services and burial will be private.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Collins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Lynn's memory.
