FRAMINGHAM - Luis E. Santiago, 49, of Framingham died Friday, July 6, 2012 at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. He leaves his wife of 30 years, Carmen (Rodriguez) Santiago. He was born, raised and educated in Puerto Rico, the son of Luis E. Santiago and Maria Luisa Gomez. He had worked for many years at Innovative Coatings in Medway and previously at International Paper in Framingham. A well-known area DJ on 91.3 FM and later on 1200 AM, he also owned and operated the former Guayama Records in Framingham. Luis loved to read, play softball, coach little league and bike ride.  He will be remembered for his kind and gentle way, always willing to lend a hand, always wishing for success and the best for others and for his wonderful sense of humor.  He was a loving husband and the best dad to his son and daughter. He leaves his son, Emanuel Santiago of Framingham and his daughter, Iris M. Santiago of Marlborough; four brothers, Tomas Romero of Framingham, Jose Cora of Marlborough, Elvin Cora of North Carolina and Reynaldo Cora of Lawrence; four sisters, Carmen Santiago and Carmen Cora, both of Framingham, and Elsa Santiago and Olga Santiago, both of Puerto Rico; and many nephews and nieces.
