Framingham- Luis Cesar Oliveira, 24, of Framingham died Wednesday August 11, 2010 at Brigham & Women's Hospital after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was born in Anapolis, Goias, Brazil the son of Cesar Oliveira of Goias and Elciane (Candido) Oliveira of Framingham and was a graduate of Keefe Technical High School and later attended Framingham State College where he studied computer science. Luis was a member of St. Tarcisius Church and was a outgoing, happy person, always worrying about others, in spite of his illness. He was a caring person that would light up any room with his smile. Luis had a big heart, volunteering for several non-profit organizations. He never once complained about his health and always maintained a positive outlook on life. He was a devoted son, brother and boyfriend. He was a talented computer programmer and web designer as well as a Samba dancer. Besides his parents he leaves his sister Monica de Oliveira and her husband Erich of Marlborough; his girlfriend Irene Futterer of Munster, Germany; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Tarcisius Church, Waverly Street. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6-9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
