Marlborough- Linda J. (Zanca) Demers, 47, of Marlborough and Milford died peacefully with her family by her side at UMass Memorial on Friday, June 22, 2012.  She was born in Marlborough the daughter of the late Winifred (Igoe) and Donald Zanca and his wife, Elizabeth of Stoneham.  She was a 1982 graduate of Assabet Valley High School.  She was working as an auditor at the Comfort Inn in Milford and previously worked at Williams Insurance, the Oxford Restaurant and Sergio's Restaurant all of Marlborough.  Linda enjoyed camping, playing cards and horseback riding.  Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.  Besides her father she leaves two sons Matthew R. Demers and David M. Demers both of Marlborough; three brothers Thomas J. Zanca of Uxbridge, Paul J. Zanca and his wife, Chrissy of Hudson, Michael D. Zanca and his wife, Cindy of Marlborough; her sister Teresa M. Arsenault of Shrewsbury; and her late sister Nancy A. Karsok.  She also leaves her companion Robert J. "Bob" Elliott of Milford; her former husband Robert J. Demers of Marlborough as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.  Calling hours are on Tuesday June 26 from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.   All are invited to sign Linda's online guestbook at www.CollinsFuneral.com .
