IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leon
Tomasky
July 16, 1936 – June 27, 2006
Leon Edward Tomasky of Stow, MA has completed his voyage but his wake will be felt for generations. Born 16 July 1936 in Simpson, Pennsylvania, Mr. Tomasky passed 27 June 2006 in Boston after a protracted battle with cancer. An avid chef and gardener with an unbridled zest for life, Leo's enthusiasm for a good meal and good conversation touched all those fortunate enough to cross his path. Always active, fruits of his twin passions of gardening and sculpture are readily apparent in the land surrounding his home. His broad knowledge and insightful analysis on a vast range of topics will be greatly missed. He is survived by a world full of people, including three children Guy Tomasky, Stephanie Tomasky, and Gabrielle Tomasky Holmes and their spouses Max Holmes and Mitchell Cohen ; two brothers Richard and John Tomasky and a sister Carol Dady, , two grandchildren Nathaniel Max Holmes, ( 7 months ) and baby girl Cohen, ( minus 4 months ) , as well as Stephanie Durant and Deborah Richardson. Leo's life will be celebrated during a party at his home (153 Kirkland Drive, Stow), Saturday July 1 from 3-7 pm, with an open invitation to his many friends. Leo's children ask that any donations in his honor be directed toward the Organization for the Assabet River (www.assabetriver.org) 9 Damon Mill Square, Suite 1E, Concord, MA 01742), one of his favorite causes. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
