MARLBOROUGH - Kenneth O. "Kenny" Demers, 55, of Marlborough, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Southern Maine Medical Center, Biddeford, Maine. He had been vacationing with his family. He was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the son of the late Oliver and Emma M. (Blanchette) Demers. He leaves a brother, Robert D. Demers of Marlborough; a sister, Patricia M. Risi of Lancaster; and many nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Roger Demers of Clinton, and Eleanor Johnson, Rita Borenson and Claire Demers, all of Marlborough. Kenny enjoying painting, crossword puzzles, walking, bike riding and collecting porcelain clowns. He will be remembered by his family for "always taking care of everyone."
Calling hours will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Following cremation, burial will be private. Instead of flowers, donations may be made in Kenny's name to Children's Hospital Trust, One Autumn Street #731, Boston, MA 02215-5301.
