Kathleen (Sweeney) Rabinowitz, 82, formerly of Port Washington, NY, Stuart, FL, and Lakewood, NJ, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at her home in Marlborough, MA. She was pre-deceased by her husband Milton "Mickey" Rabinowitz, sister Theresa O'Brien, and brothers James and Brian Sweeney. Born, raised and educated in New York City, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Moriarty) Sweeney. Always the life of the party, Kay loved socializing, traveling and spending time with her family and many friends. She leaves her daughter, Robin Ann Painter & husband Jonathan, of Sudbury, MA, two sons, Michael James Roberts & wife Elisabeth of Port Washington, NY, and Brian Keith Roberts of Olympia, WA, and five grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin and William Painter, all of Sudbury, and Steven and Kevin Roberts of Port Washington.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 5th, at Sullivan's Quay, 541 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington, NY from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
