Marlborough- Josephine K. (Casella) Cupak, 93, of Marlborough died in her home Wednesday March 4, 2015. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She was the wife of the late John J. Cupak, Sr. who died in 1985. She was born, raised, and educated in Framingham the daughter of the late James and Mary (Cardeleen) Casella. Josephine was a licensed beautician and worked for several years in New York City. She moved to Marlborough in the late 40's and raised her family there with her late husband John. She and John owned a mink farm for 25 years in Hudson and later Marlborough. She had a love for nature, gardening and a holistic lifestyle, decades before it became fashionable. She was devoted to her family, always putting others first. Josephine was baptized a Catholic and remained steadfast in the Faith of the Church until her passing, always calling upon Jesus Christ the Savior for aid and comfort in her many trials. She leaves her two sons, George P. Cupak and John J. Cupak, Jr. both of Marlborough; three daughters, Roberta D. Parker of Clinton, Victoria G. Chimeno of Milford and Mary J. Austin and her husband Arthur of Loudon, NH; a brother James V. Casella of Northborough and a sister Mary Weiss of Ashland; five granddaughters, three great grandsons and two great granddaughters; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Sunday March 8 from 3-6 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street. A funeral service will be held Tuesday March 10 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rosary will be prayed starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street.
