Marlborough- John E. Wright, Jr., 59, of Marlborough died at home Saturday February 26, 2017. He was born in Boston, the son of John E. and Ellen M. (Barnett) Wright and was raised in Vermont, graduating from Peacham High School in 1975. John was a US Army veteran. He worked at Walmart in the Stock Department for 18 years. He was an avid New England Patriots fan.  He leaves two sons, Christopher P. Wright and Timothy J. Wright both of Marlborough; a daughter, Amanda N. Wright of Marlborough; many brothers and sisters; his longtime companion Beth Robbins with whom he lived.

A graveside service with military honors will be held  at Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
