MARLBOROUGH - John J. Tellier, 67, of Marlborough died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Marlborough Hospital. The son of the late Claire Adams, he was born and raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School. John worked as a driver at Parker's Express in Ashland for over 10 years. A kindhearted man and a sports enthusiast, he volunteered much of his time to the Marlborough Shamrocks. He loved the Red Sox and the Patriots, enjoyed a good game of golf, and was known to be a huge John Wayne buff.

John leaves his beloved, longtime companion, Patricia Humphrey, with whom he lived. He also leaves a son, Dennis Ashe of Lancaster, and two daughters, Melissa Tellier of Marlborough and Marie Tellier of Maine; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; seven sisters; and many nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, July 6, at 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough, with a graveside service to follow in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough.
