John "Jack" L. Harris, 92, died Tuesday November 25, 2025 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster.

He was born in New York City, and was raised in Worcester, the son of Lyle and Gertude (Cherry) Harris.

He leaves behind his dear friend Patricia Houde and lifelong friend George Ballantyne.

He was a graduate of Governors Academy Preparatory School in Byfield Class of 1951 and received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania Military College in 1955.  He was a Captain in the United States Army from 1955-1963 and was stationed at Fort Benning.  He worked with his father at Harris Chrysler Dealership in Worcester and later opened his own Dodge dealership in Westborough.

Jack was an avid golfer in his younger years and was a member of  Worcester Country Club and Tatnuck Country Club. He was a former Rotarian and a member of The Worcester Club.  Jack was an avid New York Yankees fan.

Funeral services will be private.
