Marlborough – Jo Ann Reed, 44, of Marlborough, passed away at home on Monday, October 26, 2026. She was the fiancée of Chris Hureau of Marlborough, with whom she shared her home.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Pamela (Chausse) Franco and the late Warren Reed. She was a graduate of Grafton High School.

In addition to her fiancée, she leaves her daughter, Blair Reed of Whitinsville; her mother, Pamela (Chausse) Franco of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Michael and Christopher Reed of Worcester; and a sister, Tonya Reed of Worcester. She also leaves her uncle James Chausse and his wife Lee, her aunt Sharon Waskiewicz and her husband James, aunt Elaine Wilson and her husband Peter and uncle Brian Reed.

Jo's extended family includes Bryant and Annmarie McKinley; Irene Hureau; Kristen and Jessica McKinley; Treyvon and Jaida Harden; and Tara and Josh Sagor, all of whom held a special place in her life.

Jo will be remembered as a soft-spoken, quiet, and kind woman who always maintained a positive attitude. She was a gifted artist whose beautiful paintings reflected her creativity and talent. She had a deep love for animals and especially adored her kitten, Nico.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. The burial service will take place at Howard cemetery in Sutton on Thursday November 12th at 12:00pm.
