Marlborough- Jeffrey H. Adams, 68, of Marlborough died Thursday June 27, 2024 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a heart attack. He was the husband of Donna M. Eck for the past 38 years.
He was born in Reading, the son of the late Hayward and Jean (Cox) Adams and was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School Class of 1973. Jeff worked for MIT Lincoln Labs as a Linux Systems Administrator for many years and previously at Fresenius in Lexington. He was deeply involved in his community as a longstanding member of the Masonic Lodge, where he achieved the esteemed rank of past Master. His passion for horology was evident through his membership in the National Organization of Clock Collectors (NAWCC). Beyond his hobbies, Jeff cherished traveling adventures with his wife Donna and was affectionately known as a loving "cat daddy." His personality shone through with a collection of corny jokes and a delightful sense of humor. Known for his intelligence, patience, and unwavering willingness to assist others, Jeff leaves behind a legacy of kindness and camaraderie that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He leaves his wife Donna and his furbabies Mohawk, Nikki, Lambert, Indy and Bobbi; a sister Susan Hicks and her husband Russ of Westbrook, Maine; nephews and nieces, Nathaniel and Jonathan Hicks, Kingston, Travis, Luke, Jacob and Taryn Eck; a brother-in-law, Stephen Eck of O'Fallon, IL.
Calling hours will be held Thursday July 11 from 6-9 PM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will be private following cremation.
