Obituary

Milford- James M. Landry, 57, of Milford and formerly of Norwood, died unexpectedly on June 29, 2023 at Cape Cod Hospital.  Jim was the loving husband of Jennifer M. (Kelley) Landry for the past 27 years. He was born, raised, and educated in Norwood, the son of the late Francis A. Landry and the late Mary M. (Sheehan) DiCesare. He was a 1984 graduate of Norwood High School and later received a full football scholarship to attend the University of Rhode Island where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development in 1988.

Jim was the proud and devoted father of Jacalyn Landry and Zachary Landry of Milford.  He leaves his sister Cheryl Frasca and her husband Michael of Norwood; brother John Landry and his wife Kelly of Norwood, and his sister-in-law, Jessica Noble and her husband Michael of Maynard; his father-in-law, Michael Kelley of Milford; and his stepfather, John DiCesare of Norwood. Jim was the adored uncle to Michael Frasca, Christina Frasca, Anthony Frasca, Sean Landry, AJ Noble, Liam Noble, and Conor Noble. Jim was deeply loved and will be missed by his Aunt Theresa A. (Sheehan) Collins Holland, Aunt Connie (Landry) Omdahl, Aunt Barbara (Nyhart) Sheehan; and all of his cousins.  Jim was blessed with many lifelong incredible friends who always supported him and his family during the many challenges they faced.  James was predeceased by his mother, Mary Landry DiCesare; his father, Francis Landry; and his mother-in-law, Carol Kelley.

Jim loved Jen, Jacalyn, and Zachary with all of his heart.  They were his entire world.  Jim's work ethic was amazing, and all he ever wanted to do was to take care of his family.  As a result, he and Jen started Jen's Transportation, Inc. to provide other families who have children with special needs with caring, reliable, and safe transportation to and from school, home, or work.

Jim was an avid Patriot's Football fan! Over the years, he went to numerous games at Gillette Stadium with Jen, Zachary, and his friends.  Jim and his family continued to attend football games at his alma mater, University of Rhode Island. Jim also enjoyed spending time walking down the Cape, exercising with his family, having a good meal, and drinking a nice cold beer.

Jim and his family believed in supporting the Milford Special Olympics, the Aaron Zenus Foundation (Sweet Inspirations), and the Michael Lisnow Respite Center.  Within these organizations, they have met some wonderful families and developed many treasured friendships.
