Hudson- James F. Kelley, 82, of Hudson and formerly of Marlborough died Friday July 18, 2014 at The Reservoir Center after a brief illness.  He was the husband of Margaret L. "Peggy" (Doucette) Kelley for the past 42 years.  He was born in Boston,the son of the late Bridget Kelley,  and was raised and educated in Marlborough. He worked at Marlborough Hospital in the kitchen and food service department for 30 years. He previously worked at Frye Shoe in Marlborough and Ascutney Shoe Co. in Hudson. He was a bartender at The Moose and proud to be a lifetime member. Jim received the Moose Fellowship Degree in 1964.

Jim loved his four dogs: Sam, Misty, Bandit, and Sandy. He loved traveling and spending time at their cabins in Alfred, Maine and Lee, New Hampshire where he was able to enjoy the mountain views.

He was a avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. Besides his wife Peggy, he leaves a brother Charles O'Donnell of Arkansas; three sisters-in-law, Janet Licht and Patricia Holt both of Marlborough and Thelma Roberts of Harrisburg, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Larry Doucette of Hudson and Dick Doucette of Southborough; along with many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday July 23 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Tuesday July 22 from 5-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
