SOUTHBOROUGH - Ivanete Batista Rezende, 63, of Southborough and formerly of Minas Gerais, Brazil, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. She was the wife of Jose Rezende for the past 49 years. She was born in Medina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the daughter of Teopompo and Selvina Batista (Costa) Aguiar. Ivanete loved cooking, her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the beach. She leaves two sons, Denilton Batista Rezende of Southborough, Magno Batista Rezende of Goias, Brazil, and a daughter, Denildes Fagundes of Portugal; 11 brothers and sisters; three grandchildren, Tricia and Andry Rezende, both of Southborough, and Tirza Fagundes of Portugal. She was the grandmother of the late Yasmin Fagundes.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at 10 a.m., in Rural Cemetery, Route 85, Southborough. Calling hours and a funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Maranatha Christian Church, 286 Boston Post Road East, Marlborough.
