Hugo R. Guzman, 70, of Franklin died Monday April 4, 2016 at Milford Regional Medical Center.  He was the husband of Vilma A. (Alvarez) Guzman for the past 45 years.  He was born in Chiquimula, Guatemala the son of Oscar H. Cordon Paz and Concepcion Guzman and moved here many years ago. Prior to retiring he worked at Mass Bay Community College for 14 years and Kiessling Transit, Inc.  He loved working on cars, travelling and spending time with his grandchildren.  Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Hugo F. Guzman and his wife Karla of Franklin and Oscar Guzman of Framingham

; a daughter Nikita Digianvittorio of Framingham; two brothers, Walter and Jorge Leon of Guatemala; four sisters, Rosa Virginia of Los Angeles, Estela, Lucita and Esperanza all of Guatemala; seven grandchildren, Bryan, Adam, Nery, Nicko, Naraly, Ninibeth and Nayib.

Calling hours will be held Friday April 8 from 6-9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will be private.
