Marlborough- Heraldo Batista Trindade, 60, of Marlborough died Friday January 10, 2014 at Marlborough Hospital after being stricken ill earlier in the day while at work. He leaves his wife of 30 years Sandra Serreira Silva Trindade of Marlborough.  He was born, raised and educated in Aracuai, Minas Gerais, Brazil the son of Gilberto M. and Ana (Batista) Trindade.  Heraldo was a supervisor for G & G Janitorial Service of Southborough where he worked for 30 years until the day of his death. In Brazil he worked as a police officer. He was a member of the Assembly of God Shalom Church in Marlborough where his was a Pastor. He loved fishing, soccer and was a soccer coach for the Democratics soccer team in Framingham winning several championships. He enjoyed music, singing and was a well known singer in nightclubs in Brazil and sang at his church here. Heraldo was a happy, outgoing, honest, hardworking man who was always smiling and never had a bad day. He was devoted to his family and in all that he believed was right.  Besides his wife, he leaves a son Heraldo H. Trindade of Framingham; A daughter Claudia J. Trindade and her husband Fernando of Marlborough; a grandson Mattheus Trindade of Marlborough; twelve brothers and sisters, Gege, Dabo, Zebinna, Joca, Bebeto, Edmilson, Gilzana, Deana, Eliana, Gilca, Tida and Gilson; his mother-in-law Fabiane Alencar of Marlborough; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Thursday January 16 at 10:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Calling hours and service will be held from 7-10 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made at the funeral home to help Heraldo's family with funeral expenses.
