Hector F. Morales, 56, died Saturday January 13, 2024.  He was the husband of Mery (Poveda Fuentes) Morales for the last 17 years.

He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico the son of  Liberato and Iris A. (Casiano) Maldonado and was a graduate of South Boston High School Class of 1985. He was a supervisor at J.P. Bartlett Co. Inc. Greenhouses in Sudbury for over 20 years.  He loved working on cars, landscaping, playing pool and dominos. He was funny with a great sense of humor. Hector loved to help others and was a devout Christian.

He leaves  his son Hector J. Maldonado and his wife Nikki of Shrewsbury; four daughters, Erica Maldonado of North Carolina,Gennette Maldonado of Worcester, Ashley and Amy Morales both of Guayaquil, Ecuador; two brothers, Luis Maldonado of Worcester and Jorge Maldonado of Leominster; two sisters, Maribel Maldonado of Clinton and Olga Casillas of Berlin; four grandchildren, Iyauna, Traveon, Amelia, and Omarioh.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 25th at the First Church in Marlborough Congregational, UCC, 37 High Street, Marlborough from 5-7 PM.  A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 AM in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.  All are invited to sign Hector's online guestbook at collinsfuneral.com.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
