Obituary

BERLIN- Hazel R. (Lambert) Pulsifer, 84 of Berlin, formerly of Marlborough died Friday March 9, 2007 in UMASS Medical Center, Worcester. She was the wife of the late Freeman M. Pulsifer. She leaves two sons, Alan M. Pulsifer, and his wife Kathy of Auburn and Stephen D. Pulsifer and his wife Debra of Berlin; four daughters, Darlene D. Trefrey of Stow, Doreen D. Roby of Marlborough, Daine L. Sleczkowski of Sudbury and Koreen C. Sorenson of Berlin; a brother Edward Lambert of Lakeville; five grandsons, eight granddaughters, two great grandsons, four great granddaughters and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers and a sister. She was born in Marlborough the daughter of the late Wilbrod and Beatrice (Schofield) Lambert and was a 1941 graduate of Marlborough High School and owned and operated F & H Clam Box in Marlborough with her husband for several years. A member of the First Parish Church of Berlin, she loved cooking, baking, knitting, quilting and tending to her flowers. All will remember the wedding cakes she designed and her hundreds of May Baskets. She enjoyed traveling throughout New England with her family and will be remembered as a caring, loving woman who was devoted to her children and grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday March 13, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Pleasant Street, Berlin. Calling hours will be held Monday March 12, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
