Marlborough- Harold W. Gazzaniga, 85, of Marlborough died Sunday July 15, 2007 in Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. He was the husband of the late Clarice (Pair) Gazzaniga who died in 2003. He leaves three sons, Garry Joseph Gazzaniga of Northborough, Donald Michael Gazzaniga of Auburn and John Victor Gazzaniga of Worcester; a daughter Dorothy J. Gazzaniga of Hudson; a sister Eleanor Gazzaniga of Marlborough; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was the father of the late Harold P. Gazzaniga of Marlborough who died in 1970 and the brother of the late Donald W. Gazzaniga of Sherman Oaks, CA and Warren J. Gazzaniga of Marlborough. He was born, raised, and educated in Marlborough, the son of the late Romeo V. and Flora B. (Swift) Gazzaniga. Mr. Gazzaniga was a US Army/Air Corp Veteran of World War II. He attended Georgia Tech and worked for Paramount Pictures, National Cash Register Company and Lincoln-Sudbury High School. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was an avid reader who enjoyed bowling, boxing and most sports. As a young man he traveled throughout the country entertaining others with his singing and dancing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday July 18, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday July 17 from 6-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607-1460.
