Gregory W. Schneider, 48, of Marlborough died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at MetroWest Medical Center. He was the spouse of John Ehn of Hudson for the last three years. Greg was born in Denville, N.J., and was the son of Roberta J. Schneider of Marlborough and William M. Schneider, who died in January 2009. A graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, he later received his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from UMass Amherst. For 10 years he was a principal engineer at EMC in Hopkinton, and had previously worked for MTI Technology in Anaheim, California. Greg enjoyed fixing and building things around the house and was quite handy with electronics. He was so gifted that he actually built a 25 inch color television set at the age of twelve. Greg leaves his brother, Louis C. Schneider, Esq., of Las Vegas, Nev., and his sister, Dawn K. Kalilainen of Marlborough; and his nephews and nieces, Austin Schneider of Las Vegas, Madison Schneider of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Caitlin and William Kalilainen, both of Marlborough. A funeral service will be held Sunday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home.
