IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Grace Ming-Chou
Lai
October 28, 1952 – July 23, 2015
Marlborough- Grace M. (Wu) Lai, 62, of Marlborough died Thursday July 23, 2015 at her home, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Charles Lai for the past 39 years. She was born in Tao Yuan, Taiwan, the daughter of Jin Pu and Wan (Li) Wu and was educated there where she received a degree in accounting. She was a hard worker, and through the years she was a retail salesperson, business owner, and receptionist at Vision Associates.
Grace was a wonderful wife and mother. She was an elegant and poised woman who enjoyed cooking, gardening, travelling and more than anything, cherished her time with her family. She raised three children, Shin-Yi, Jennifer, and Stephanie whom she tirelessly drove around to every swim practice, music lesson, and tennis lesson while miraculously always having dinner ready on the table. Grace loved spending time with her husband Charles relaxing at the lake, exploring new countries, foods, and cities.
She adored her four grandchildren, Jack, Tyler, Diana and Ian. Besides her husband Charles, she leaves her parents, three daughters, Shin-Yi Stevenson and her husband, John of Northborough, Jennifer Hughes and her husband Stephen of Austin, Texas and Stephanie Lai of Boston; a sister Spring Wu and many nephews and nieces.
