Gilberto A. Rezende Junior, 31, of Framingham died Saturday September 7, 2024 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a short illness.

He was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil and was the son of Gilberto A. Rezende and Katia E. (Caldeira) Costa.  He was raised in Framingham and was a graduate of Keefe Tech. He was a Massachusetts licensed realtor.  Gilberto worked for his family's business Magic Oven and later Silos Bakery for many years. He enjoyed fishing and cooking.  He was brave, gentle, kind, supportive and enjoyed helping others.

He leaves his mother Katia E. (Caldeira) Costa of Framingham; three brothers, Andrew Costa of Framingham, Helbert and Gilbert Rezende both of Florida; three sisters, Victoria Costa of Framingham, Karine and Vivian Rezende both of Florida; maternal grandparents Aristeu and  Neusa Caldeira both of Bocaiuva, Minas Gerais, Brazil; many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and  cousins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday September 10 from 6-9 PM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street, Framingham.  All are invited to sign Gilberto's online guestbook at collinsfuneral.com.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
