AUBURN - George J. Nikolajevs, 75, of Auburn died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at UMass Medical Center after a brief illness.  George was born in Riga, Latvia, the son of the late Janis and Maria Nikolajevs.  He leaves companion Edith  Ruguleiski of Auburn; son Peter J. Nikolajevs and his wife Rachel of Dearborn, MI, and a daughter, Sandra Nikolajevs and her husband Timothy O'Malley of Charleston, SC; a sister, Ileana Prancan of Nashua, NH; and three grandchildren, Peter T. O'Malley and Natalie and Andrew Nikolajevs.  The funeral and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
