Framingham- Genir Moreno Ferreira, 64, of Framingham died Saturday September 5, 2015 at her home after a long illness with her family by her side. She was born in Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil the daughter of Conceicao Ferreira and the late Francisico F. Nabas. She was educated there and received a bachelor's degree in education, after which time she taught middle school for several years. She was a member of the Brazilian Community Christian Church in Framingham. Genir enjoyed reading, dancing and helping others. She was a caring, happy and very positive woman. She leaves a son, Marcelo M. Lima of Goias, Goiana Brazil; three daughters, Adriane Parente of Holliston, Karinny Churchill of Hopkinton and Thais Lima of Framingham;two brothers and a sister from Brazil; seven grandchildren- Deborah, Victor, Thiago, Rachel, Anna, Luke and Blake; several nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held Thursday September 10 at 9:30 a.m. in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove Street, Framingham. Calling hours will be held Tuesday September 8 from 6-8 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home.
