MARLBOROUGH - Frederick P. Ciccarelli, 70, of Marlborough died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Marlborough Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Carol A. (Tourville) Ciccarelli for the last 10 years. He was born in Boston, raised and educated in Somerville, and was the son of the late Gennaro and Guglielmina (Cerrone) Ciccarelli. A supervisor at MIT Lincoln Labs in Lexington for 17 years before retiring in 2002, Fred enjoyed camping and fishing, often traveling to Angle Pond Grove Camp in Sandown, N.H. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, and loved his dog and constant companion,"Bruschi." Fred also loved spending time at his seasonal home in Las Vegas. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, AnnMarie Zocchi and her husband, Stephen P., of Arlington; a brother, William P. Ciccarelli of Somerville; two grandchildren, Justin L. and Jennifer Rose Zocchi, both of Arlington; two stepsons, David J. Greska of Hudson and Robert G. Greska of Leominster, and two stepdaughters, Linda M. Greska of Worcester and Paula A. Rudd of Hudson; and five step-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Benjamin P. Ciccarelli of Burlington, Mario P. Ciccarelli of California, and Raffela Trogolo of Somerville.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, at 4 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com) , 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. Following cremation, burial will be private. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Buddy Dog, 151 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, or the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., Boston, MA 02210.
