Acton – Florence F. (Torelli) Stern, 90, of Acton and formerly of Johnston, RI died Monday April 21, 2014 at Life Care Center of Acton.  She was the wife of the late Edward Stern.  She was born in Johnston, RI the daughter of the late Alexander and Emma (Bianco) Torelli.  Florence owned and operated the Finishing Touch, a women's clothing and alteration store also in Johnston.  She leaves her daughter Carole Santagata and son-in-law Donald Santagata of Sudbury, MA; her sister Claire Cipriano of Johnston, RI;  two granddaughters, Darlene Schwartz of Mansfield, MA  and Loreen Santagata-Abelite and her husband Paul Abelite of Norwell, MA;  and four great grandchildren, Samantha, Isabella, Alexander, and Austin.  Florence loved sewing and making clothes for the people she cared about, and enjoyed cooking wonderful Italian meals as well.  What she loved most was family and she will be truly missed.
