Marlborough- Florence L. (Cullen) MacDonald of Marlborough died Thursday January 14, 2016 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late John E. MacDonald who died May 25, 2015. She was born, raised and educated in Watertown, the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence L. (Ticehurst) Cullen. She was a 1941 graduate of Watertown High School.  She worked at several places over the years including Bachrach Photography in Watertown, Standard Orchards, Dennison, Design Pak and the Telephone Learing Center in Marlborough. Florence enjoyed square dancing, bowling, baking, cooking, cake decorating and needlepoint. She will be remembered as a quiet and reserved woman. She leaves her son, Jerry MacDonald and his wife Susan of Framingham; two grandsons, Ben and Michael MacDonald of Framingham. She was predeceased by two sisters Frances Cullen and Dorothy Roberts as well as two brothers, Charlie Cullen and Billy Cullen.

Following cremation burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
