Marlborough- Evelyn M. (Francis) Gaudette, 90, of Marlborough died Friday December 16, 2016 at Coleman House in Northborough. She was the wife of the late Robert Gaudette who died in 1972. Evelyn was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the daughter of the late George and Rose Francis. She was a homemaker, very devoted to her family and and was a caregiver to many family members in time of need. She enjoyed vacationing in the summer at Old Orchard Beach, Maine; however what brought Evelyn the most joy was spending time with friends and family at her home. She leaves her son David R. Gaudette of Marlborough; her daughter Carol F. Murphy, and her husband John of Grafton; her brother George Francis, Jr. and his wife Dorothy of Marlborough; many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.  She was the sister of the late Arthur, Solomon and Joseph Francis all of Marlborough and the late Alice Randall and Selma Macricosta both of Marlborough.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday December 20 at 11 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street. Calling hours will precede the service on Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial donations in Evelyn's memory can be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
