MARLBOROUGH - Eric N. Josephson, 66, of Marlborough died unexpectedly Saturday, April 2, 2011 at home. He was born in Worcester, raised in Marlborough, the son of the late Arthur and Harriett (Orlander) Josephson, and was a graduate of Marlborough High School. An equipment mechanic at Veryfine Products in Littleton for many years and retiring in 1993, he previously worked at ZaRex Fruit Drink Co. as a maintenance mechanic for several years. He was a scratch golfer, an avid fisherman and hunter, an avid Patriots fan and a computer/electronics whiz. Eric was good with his hands and could fix just about anything. He was able to create three-dimensional images and video from two dimensions long before the concept hit the retail market. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and Shannon's dog, Ruby and Crystal's dog Jackson. A happy-go-lucky, down-to-earth gentleman, he had many close friends including the Traiforos family of Marlborough. He leaves three daughters, Shannon T. Frate and her husband Louis of Winchester, Crystal M. Josephson and her fiance Ricardo Devane of Marlborough, and Denise M. Josephson of Canada; a brother, Arthur "Sonny" Josephson of Hudson; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Emily, Alexia, all of Marlborough and Steven, Kenya, Raven and Lucas, all of Canada; a niece, Donna, and a nephew, Craig; and his former wife, Linda E. (Garceau) Josephson of Marlborough. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 7 at 11 a.m., at the First Church in Marlborough Congregational, 37 High Street. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street.
