Peabody- Elisete "Lisa" Fatima Pozzebon Benevides, 51, of Peabody died Tuesday January 26, 2016. She was born, raised and educated in Severiano de Almeida, RS, Brazil the daughter of the late Jose Pozzebon and Rosalina Elzira Bald. Before moving to Massachusetts she owned and operated her own grocery store in Brazil. While living here she owned Lisa's Cleaning Sercive and also worked at Bertolli in Danvers. She enjoyed cooking, helping others, never expecting anything in return.  She was happy and never had a bad day in her life.

She leaves three daughters, Gabriela Benevides of Peabody, Paula and Cristina Benevides both of Mariluz, Parana, Brazil; seven brothers, Valdir, Ivo Domingos, Ari, Norberto, Eloe, Pedro and Germano; five sisters, Deise, Elita, Venilda, Rosicler and Semilda all of Brazil; Four grandchildren, Ana Carolina, Juliane, Ana Livia and Joao Pedro.

Calling hours will be held Sunday January 31 from 2-5 p.m. in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly. Burial will be held in Brazil. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
