MARLBOROUGH - Edvar Medeiros Da Cunha, 63, of Marlborough died at home Sunday, March 7, 2010. He was the husband of Neusa Da Silva Da Cunha for the last 35 years. Born in Crucilandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, he was the son of the late Antonio Jose and Maria Augusta Da Cunha. He leaves a son, Douglas M. Da Cunha, and a daughter, Daniela M. Da Cunha, both of Marlborough; two brothers, Jose and Celio, and three sisters, Maria, Julene and Duca, all of Belo Horizonte, Brazil; and four grandchildren, Lucas, Nicholas, Nathaly and Gabriel, all of Marlborough. Edvar worked at Renaissance Electronics for 14 years. He loved fishing, playing pool, telling funny stories and barbeques with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a hard-working, honest man and a good father.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 10, from 7 to 10 p.m., at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 11 at 11 a.m., in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.
