Marlborough- Edmond "Eddie" X. Solano passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. He was the beloved husband of Anne M. (Mayo) Solano for the past 43 years.

Born in Everett and raised in Somerville, Eddie was the son of the late Edmond and Leonora (DiPetro) Solano.

Eddie worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor, first at Kathleen Daniels Nursing Center in Framingham and later at Academy Knoll Apartments in Marlborough. Known for his kind spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand, he was respected and appreciated by all who knew him.

A talented handyman, Eddie enjoyed fixing just about anything. He also loved crossword puzzles, was an avid movie watcher, and had a special fondness for country music.

He is survived by his brothers, Paul, Joseph, and Kenneth; his sisters, Patricia and Priscilla; his stepchildren, Debra, Edward, Karen, and Linda; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his stepchild, Dennis.

Eddie's family is thankful for the wonderful care he received at Beaumont.

In keeping with Eddie's wishes, there will be no formal services. Burial will take place at a later date.
