FRAMINGHAM- Edilene C. (Silva) Evangelista, 31 of Framingham, died Saturday December 30, 2006 from injuries received in an automobile accident in Framingham. She was the wife of Sirlei R. Evangelista for the past 10 years. She leaves her daughter Sarah Jane Evangelista of Framingham; her parents, Hermelino R. Chaves and Maria D, Silva of Itaobim, Minas Gerais, Brazil; five brothers, Edson R. Silva of Framingham; Edmilson Silva, Ednardio Silva, Ermelindo Silva and Heberton Silva all Itaobim, Minas Gerais, Brazil; a sister, Helenilda Silva of Itaobim, Minas Gerais, Brazil. She was born in Itaobim and was a graduate of Univale in Governador Valadares where she received a degree in dentistry. She was attending Tufts University Dental International Student Program and would have completed her studies next year. She was a member of Ebenezer Assembly of God Church in Marlborough where she taught Sunday school. A happy and outgoing woman, she enjoyed traveling, gardening and sharing the Word of God with others. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who could light up any room with her smile. She was a determined woman who overcame any obstacles which might have stood in her way of achieving her goals in life. Edilene and her husband Sirlei became US citizens together last year. A graveside service will be held Thursday January 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove Street, Framingham. Calling hours will be held Wednesday January 3, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
