Obituary

WEBSTER - Doris O. (Garceau) Beaulieu, 88, of Webster and formerly of Marlborough, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. She was the wife of Joseph G. Beaulieu, who died in 1973. Doris was born, raised and educated in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Patrick and Grace (O'Leary) Garceau, and was a nurse's aide at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham and Oakwood Nursing Home in Webster, both for many years. Her hobbies were dancing, knitting and playing cards. She belonged to the Silver Dippers in Webster and was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Webster.
She leaves a son, Patrick M. Beaulieu of Marlborough and two daughters, Dorothy O'Leary of Clinton and Linda M. Majka of Webster; two sisters, Marion Langelier of Hudson and Gloria Porrazzo of Westborough; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was the mother of Everett "Sonny" Beaulieu of Martha's Vineyard, who died in 1993.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at 9:30 a.m., at the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
