HUDSON- Diane L. (Castillo) Thomas, 49 of Hudson and formerly of Marlborough died Monday January 16, 2007 in MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Danny Thomas for the past 28 years. Besides her husband, she leaves her mother and father, Orlando and Pacita (Castillo) Ramierz of Daily City, CA; a daughter, Yvette Fontanilla of Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother Ronald Ramierz of Daily City, CA; a grandson, Javon Acoba of Honolulu; a granddaughter, Regina Lynn Fontanilla of Hudson and two nieces, Allison and Arianne Ramierz both of Daily City, CA. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and was a graduate of McKinley High School in Honolulu. She furthered her education in the the fields of nursing and finance and was a Controller at Embassy Suites Hotel in Marlborough from 1997-2003. Previously, she worked for the Embassy Suites Hotel at Philadelphia Airport for 7 years. Following her marriage to Danny, a member of the US Army, they were transferred to Frankfurt, Germany, where she worked at the Ambassador Arms Hotel. Diane enjoyed shopping, cooking and taking care of her family. She will be remembered by family and friends as a warm, loving, giving woman who was devoted to her husband. Her funeral will be held Saturday January 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.SFCFH.com) , 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Friday January 19, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
