Delvina M. (Aguiar) Gouveia, 68, died Wednesday November 16, 2016 at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was the wife of Guilherme Gouveia for the past 18 years.  She was born in Penha do Norte and raised and educated in Conselheiro Pena, Minas Gerais, Brazil. She is the daughter of Benvindo and Marieta (Dos Reis) Aguiar. Delvina taught school in Brazil and later moved to Toronto, where she became involved in her church, just recently publishing her first book entitled "My Experiences with God". She was devoted to her family and spent most of her time using every means of communication to stay in touch with them. She was extremely close to her brothers and beloved in her community.

Besides her husband she leaves a son, Edvaldo Aguiar of Everett; three daughters, Lindalva Doobay of Tampa, FL, Rosilene Souza and Eusa Pessote, both of Framingham; two brothers, Alvarino Aguiar and Valter Aguiar, both of Brazil; eight grandchildren and a great grandson.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday Nov 22 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home(www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
