CLINTON - Debra L. (Aldred) Place, 57, of Clinton and formerly of Marlborough, died at home Friday, April 12, 2013. She was the wife of Richard P. Place for the last 39 years.  She was born in Ayer, raised and educated in Northborough, the daughter of the late Patricia (Haller) Johnson.  A graduate of Assabet Valley's Nursing Program she became a Licensed Practical Nurse, working at several area nursing homes including Bolton Manor.  Debbie was always happiest when she was caring for others and enjoyed quiet times with her husband, reading, playing cards and bragging about her grandchildren.  She leaves two sons, Kevin P. Place and his partner, Katie Kellemeyer and Keith D. Place and his wife, Cassandra, and a daughter, Kimberly A. Steinau and her husband, Damion, all of Clinton; a brother, Brian Aldred and a sister, Rhonda Letteer and her husband Dale, both of Colorado; and three grandsons, Edmund, Trent and Jeremiah and a granddaughter, Kylie .

A private graveside service will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home ( www.CollinsFuneral.com ), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Instead of flowers donations may be made directly to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
