David F. Soares, 65, died Friday January 7, 2022 at MetroWest Medical Center. He was the husband of Darlete (Lopes) Soares for the last 38 years. He was born in Aimores, Minas Gerais, Brazil the son of the late Ermindo Felicisso Soares and Julieta Margarida De Jesus and was educated in Espirito Santo, Brazil. David was a baker at La Cascia's Bakery in Medford for many years. David finished his career at Framingham Station Brazilian Steak House where he worked amongst many dear friends and was admired by all. He was a member of Assembly of God Mission Church in Framingham. He was a devoted husband, father and dear friend to many. He was extremely proud of his three sons and their accomplishments. He was a simple and honest person. David was very hardworking and  often proud of his work. He smiled often and made sure he cared about everyone he was with. David enjoyed watching soccer, watching nature documentaries and going for walks.

Besides his wife Darlete, he leaves three sons Breno Lopes and his wife Lorraine of Orlando, Matheus Lopes and his wife Milcia of Framingham and Thiago Felicissimo and his wife Nayara of Marlborough; two granddaughters Rebecca Lopes of Orlando and Nicole Lopes of Framingham; eight siblings, Odias, Obede, Antonio, Almir, Zelia, Tininha, Malvina, Neuza and Filica all of Espirito Santo, Brazil; many nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 11 at 11:00 AM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
