GILBERTVILLE - David A. "DJ" Lawrence Jr., 20, of Gilbertville, died peacefully in his sleep Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008. Born in Worcester and raised in Barre, David lived in Gilbertville for many years and was the son of Anna M. Lawrence and Raymond VanDeusen of Gilbertville. He leaves his brother, Joseph S. VanDeusen of Gilbertville; his maternal grandfather, Robert C. Darling Sr. of Sturbridge and his maternal grandmother, Mary Darling of Wheelwright; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A 2007 graduate of Quabbin Regional High School, David loved reading, writing poetry, cooking, computers and video games. He also loved being with his family and will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
