Boston- Corey Thompson, 44, of Boston died Monday February 25, 2013.  He was born in Framingham, the son of the late Harry E. and Dorothy L. (Foster) Welton and was a graduate of Assabet Valley High School Class of 1986.  He was a Hair Stylist at Diego's Salon on Newbury Street in Boston for many years. Corey was a fun loving, kind, compassionate man who enjoyed travelling, working out, and his pugs "Oso" and "Nikko".  He leaves two sisters, Martha Moran of Dayville, Conn and Patricia Russell of Webster; a brother, Wayne Welton of Oxford; six nephews and nieces, Carin, Sara, Robert, Bill, Melanie and Clarence; his longtime friend Andre Da Silva with whom he lived.  His sister Jane Wright died in 2007.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Lincoln Chapel of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. Following cremation burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held Friday March 2 from 6-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
