Marlborough- Centannial James, 55, of Marlborough died Wednesday September 28, 2016 at her home.  She was born and raised in Tampa, Florida the daughter of the late Isaac and Carrie (Davis) James and moved to Massachusetts many years ago. She enjoyed hairdressing, cooking and spending time with her children.  She leaves three sons, Raven James of Brockton, Paul Purvis of Sudbury and Evan Purvis of Hopkinton; four daughters, Tamika James of Brockton, Tyechia James of Franklin, Kyleeka James of Marlborough and Shanteria "Shay" Purvis of Haverhill; three brothers, Samuel James of Georgia, Isaac James of Boston and Arthur James of Florida; three sisters, Teresa James of New Hampshire, Natasha Simmons of Boston and Kathy Hodge of Framingham; twenty grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Calling hours will be held Friday October 7 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made at the funeral home to assist family with funeral expenses.
