Obituary

Marlborough- Blossom Laverdure, 87, of Marlborough died Saturday February 18, 2023 at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation after a long illness with Alzheimer's Disease. She was the wife of the late David T. Laverdure, who died in 1986.

She was born, raised and educated in Worcester, the daughter of the late Henry and Muriel (Rafuse) Brunelle.

She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough.

She enjoyed bowling, dancing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing cards and cooking.

Blossom spent many years as an assembly worker at factories located in Worcester and Marlborough, in later years working in school cafeteria and then becoming a childcare provider.

She will be remembered as a sweet bubbly woman who always welcomed everyone into her home. She cared for them each when they were young and always had warm chocolate chip cookies when they came home from school. She loved teaching them card games, enjoyed a day at the beach and being at their soccer games.

She leaves two sons, Mark J. Laverdure (Debbie) of Maine and Paul D. Laverdure of Millbury; three daughters, Michele A. Laverdure of Whitinsville, Marie T.
