Beverly M. Alden, 81, formerly of Marlborough died Thursday September 3, 2026 while in hospice care in Florida.

She was born, raised and educated in Marlborough and was the daughter of the late Oakley and Evelyn I. (Lesieur) Alden. Beverly worked as an assembler for Rockport for many years.

She leaves her brother Warren M. Alden of Middleburg, Florida; two nieces, Gail Sparks of Orange Park, Florida and Lori Alden of Arnold, Missouri; a nephew, W. Michael Alden of San Antonio, Texas; a great niece, Katie Chirinos, four great nephews, William Sparks, Daniel Sparks, Jonathan Sparks and W. Michael Hackett, a great, great niece, Melodie Chirinos and great, great nephew, Elliot Chirinos.

A graveside service will be held Saturday September 12 at 10:00 AM in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers and to honor Bev's love of her cats, donations may be made in her memory to https://stlpetrescue.com/
